There are many ways that Critical Impact helps you take control of your email marketing wants and needs, but industry standards do limit what we are able to do to improve your quality of life. Currently, industry standards require automated replies only go to the From Address.
If a subscriber replies to an email manually, the message will be sent to the “reply-to” address. However, if the subscriber’s email server responds directly, such as an out of office response that’s hosted on their server, it should and will most likely be addressed to the “from” address.
One solution is setting up From/Reply-To email addresses specifically to handle the replies. If you would like to hide the "out of office" messages that get sent to the from address, it's a good idea to set up some inbox rules to automatically filter out-of-offices replies or bounce notifications.
For example, you could add this rule to your Inbox: "If the email subject includes: 'Out of office', 'out of the office', 'autoreply', 'delivery status notification', 'message status - undeliverable' OR the email content includes: 'no longer working at', 'unattended mailbox', THEN move the message to another folder called Auto Responses." How you implement these rules will vary based on your inbox provider.
